Fiore Industries Inc. in Albuquerque has won a two-year, $2.3 million base contract to provide protective services at Spaceport America in southern New Mexico.
Fiore's contract calls for it to provide around-the-clock security, badging, firefighting and emergency medical services, and help the facility meet environmental, safety and health requirements. To start, Fiore is to develop policies and procedures for site security, emergency response and risk management, and it will perform pre-operational exercises.
Fiore will lead a team of companies that will collaborate to meet all protective service requirements during the two-year contract period. Other team members include Allied Barton Security Services LLC, Sierra Vista Hospital New Mexico, Zia Engineering, Environmental Consultants LLC and the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in Socorro.
Fiore has experience providing security services to all United Space Alliance facilities, the Miami International Airport and Raytheon Corp.
